An award-winning law enforcement leader with over three decades keeping communities safe, Susanna Johnson has the experience, judgment, and integrity to lead our Sheriff’s Office.
Wanting to serve as a police officer at a young age, Susanna started her dream job at the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office at the age of 22, where she worked for 30 years.
In that time, she worked in the toughest and most sought-after units, continuously promoting through the ranks. Her assignments included:

• K-9 Handler with K-9 Baker (who did all of the real work)
• SWAT Entry Team, Squad Leader, and Operations Manager

Two years ago, Susanna Johnson was recruited by the Bothell Police Department to serve as a Lateral Police Captain and promoted to Deputy Chief.
Susanna is a decorated graduate of the FBI National Academy, which is the most sought-after executive law enforcement leadership training in the world, and also worked her way through college to earn a master's degree.

Cindy Gobel-Snohomish County Auditor
I am the experienced County Auditor candidate, having trained Auditors and election administrators for five years. Decades of experience in elections, licensing, recording, and animal services, with extensive community service and a law degree are my foundation for providing county services. I firmly believe in upholding the integrity of our democratic processes. I will ensure fair and secure elections, protect voter rights, and increase public trust. I will provide accessible voter education to build an engaged community. Licensing and recording services are vital for economic growth. I will streamline processes and facilitate efficient transactions for businesses and residents while enhancing customer service. Animal services are fundamental to county operations, I will advocate for resources to improve animal welfare while promoting responsible pet ownership.

Judge Patrick Moriarity for Snohomish County Superior Court Position #17
Judge Moriarty, the incumbent in this election, has been a valued member of the Superior Court bench since 2022 and is overwhelmingly supported by the bench and Bar. Judge Moriarty served as a Judge Pro Tem in Snohomish County for 17 years, followed by 4 years as a Superior Court Commissioner. For 27 years, Pat gained broad expertise as a Public Defender, Assistant Seattle City Attorney, and as a private practice attorney. He handled criminal defense matters, juvenile representation, dependencies, drug court, personal injury, and many other legal issues that come before him as a Superior Court judge. This deep experience now serves him well as a valued member of the Court.
